Introducing supergroup the Blue Water Giants . . .
The BWG is a rock supergroup comprised of highly seasoned British musicians who have played with some of the biggest names in rock and pop history. The group is not a cover or tribute band. Instead, they function as a "legacy act," blending their own newly written material with fresh live performances of the massive historical hits they originally helped record or tour during their careers.
The band is captained by founder and musical director Josh Phillips, well-known for his long tenure as the Hammond organist for the legendary band Procol Harum.
Along with Neil Taylor, lead guitarist and vocalist for Tears For Fears | Bass player John 'Rhino' Edwards from Status Quo | Drummer Mel Gaynor from Simple Minds and Jesse Smith, the lead vocalist and keyboardist known widely for his role in The Classic Rock Show.
