The session is all about the students and involves advice regarding every aspect of the music industry in 2026, it's designed to prepare students for the real working world, from rehearsal rooms to recording studios to the big stage. Sandy will be available as a resource to them, throughout the session to answer any questions they may have.
Sandy will be covering professional skills, pathways to success, maintaining success and ways in which to achieve each student's individual goals. During the masterclass there is video/audio content as well as a quiz and an interactive section where the Platform One House Band "The Project" will perform in a real rehearsal scenario.  As well as this there is a short section of Sandy performing some sections of One Direction songs, to discuss his approach and ways in which to fit in to a live scenario musically.

ABOUT SANDY BEALES

Sandy is a session bass player and Musical Director.
Throughout his career he has performed with worldwide sensation One Direction on all four of their world tours, performing at many iconic  
venues from around the world, including Madison Square Garden and Wembley Stadium.
During his career Sandy has worked with many acts including Clean Bandit, James Arthur, Years and Years, Mabel, Scouting For Girls, Caity Baser, Mae Muller and Dylan.
Sandy has worked with Wheatus, (notable hits: Teenage Dirtbag, A Little Respect ), recording a single in 2014 (Only You) and as part of the rerelease of their 2000 album “Wheatus” due for release later in 2020.
Sandy also tours with J.P Cooper (notable hits: September Song, Perfect Strangers), and has done since 2017.
